Having a dyson vacuum is like having a Ferrari; they are both amazing machines that will make your life significantly better but they are also bothprone to breaking down and requiring professional help. dyson vacuum repair can be daunting and expensive, but it doesn’t have to be! You can do some simple troubleshooting on your own to see if the problem is an easy fix. Many of the most common dyson vacuum problems can be fixed with a simple cleaning or adjustment, so before you bring it in for dyson vacuum repair, check these things first:

  • Is the canister full? Empty it out and see if that improves performance.
  • If the suction seems weak, check for blockages in the hose or brush area. Cleaning or replacing these parts should do the trick.
  • If your dyson vacuum starts making strange noises, it might be time for dyson vacuum repair. However, sometimes something as simple as removing a clog or blockage can stop the noise.

If you have tried these troubleshooting tips and the dyson vacuum still isn’t working properly, then it’s time to bring it in for repair. Our technicians will take a look and let you know what the problem is and how we can fix it.

Aftermarket Dyson Post Filter for dyson V6 cordless vacuums and others

Why is it that no matter how many times you vacuum, your house always seems dusty? It’s enough to make you lose your mind. But before you throw in the towel, check to see if your vacuum is dyson vacuum repair. One of the most common dyson vacuum problems is a blocked filter. Fine dust and animal hair can quickly build up and block the flow of air, making it difficult for the vacuum to suction up dirt. First, let’s take a look at the dyson filter. The dyson filter is responsible for trapping fine dust and dirt particles. Over time, the dyson filter can become clogged with dirt and hair, which can reduce the vacuum’s suction power. To clean the dyson filter, simply remove it from the vacuum and wash it with warm water. Once it’s dry, reattach it to the vacuum and enjoy clean floors once again.

If your dyson vacuum cleaner still isn’t working properly after cleaning the filter, the next thing to check is the dyson brush roller. Dyson will tell you that their vacuums do not have belts. This is not true. The belt is hidden inside the machine. The belt actually rarely The dyson belt helps to rotate the brushroll, which is responsible for agitating the carpet and loosen dirt. If the dyson belt is broken or worn out, it can cause the vacuum to lose suction power or even stop working altogether. Fortunately, dyson vacuum service centers are typically able to replace the belt quickly and easily. So if your dyson isn’t working as it should, don’t hesitate to take it in for a tune-up.

Dyson is a company that is known for being innovative and stylish. Their vacuums are no different. In fact, dyson will tell you that their vacuums do not have belts. This is not true. The belt is hidden inside the machine. The belt actually rarely breaks though. With Dysons if the brush roller stops spinning the problem is usually more serious than a broken belt. Normally when this happens it can mean the brush roller gears have melted. Unfortunately Dyson does not sell these gears and usually you have to replace the entire brush roller head if the gears are melted. That can be costly but even with regular maintenance dyson vacuums should last you several years. When something does go wrong it is important to take it to a dyson vacuum service center to get repaired. dyson has a great customer service team that will help you get your dyson vacuum back in working order in no time!

If your dyson vacuum isn’t turning on, don’t panic – there are a couple possible causes. It could simply be that the vacuum overheated and shut itself off. If that is the case, wait 24 hours and turn it back on. However, another problem with dysons are failed power switches. This is not likely a repair you should try at home but it also is not a particularly costly repair either. Generally it will cost about an hour labor plus the cost of the part. So if your dyson isn’t working, take a deep breath and call a dyson vacuum service professional. They’ll have your vacuum up and running in no time.

Pre-owned Dyson Switch for DC07, DC14, DC17, DC18, DC21, DC23, DC24, DC25, DC26, DC27, DC28, DC33, DC37, DC39, DC41, DC39C, DC52, DC54, DC78, UP13

Dyson vacuum cleaners are popular for a reason: they really work! But what happens when your Dyson suddenly won’t turn on? The most common reason is a bad power cord. Vacuum cleaner power cords get moved around constantly unlike other appliances, and over time they can fray internally and lose continuity. This will keep the Dyson from turning on at all. If this is the case with your Dyson, it’s best to take it to a vacuum repair shop rather than trying to fix it yourself. The cord itself is pricey due to increasing copper prices, so it’s not out of the question to replace it. But if your Dyson is newer and in otherwise good shape, it may be worth the cost to get it repaired.

Dyson vacuums are amazing machines that can make quick work of even the most stubborn dirt and debris. However, one of the worst problems you can have with your Dyson is the wire loom. This really only affects Dyson Ball and the Dyson model DC50 and soft carpet Dyson ball are notorious for it. The wire loom in a Dyson is a complex multi wire assembly that snakes from the top of the Dyson all the way to the power head. If you find that your power head is not turning on but the rest of the vacuum is turning on this might be your problem. The issue with this repair is not that the wire loom is expensive. It is the insane amount of labor needed to complete the repair. Most repair shops will decline this dyson vacuum service due to the time needed to complete it. So if you find yourself in need of this repair, be prepared for a hefty price tag!

Many dyson owners find that their beloved vacuums start to lose suction power after a few years. The problem is often caused by a build-up of dirt and debris in the brush head assembly. But don’t despair – there is a way to fix this problem, and it doesn’t involve buying a new vacuum! The dyson service team is trained to disassemble and clean the brush head assembly, so all you need to do is give them a call. In most cases, they will be able to fix the problem quickly and easily, and your dyson will be back to its old self in no time. So if your dyson isn’t working as well as it used to, don’t give up hope.

Genuine Reconditioned Dyson Power Head Assembly for DC41 DC65 UP19 UP20 PN 920774-01

Don’t despair though. The problem I mention above can also be caused because of a fault in the brush head assembly. Like I mention before the brush head assembly is often not available because dyson simply does not make enough replacement parts. Let’s be honest here. Dyson doesn’t want you fixing your vacuum. The don’t want the vacuum repaired, they want you to buy a new one! The problem with a part in the head being defective is they do not sell repair components for Dyson power heads. You have to buy the entire power head assembly. So instead of spending $30 or so to replace a broken brush head, you’ll have to spend around $150 or more for an entirely new powerhead. That’s just dyson’s way of making sure you keep buying their vacuums!

What do you do when your power head starts to malfunction? One option is to buy a replacement power head. Here’s what you need to know about finding the right power head for your Dyson vacuum. There are three common powerheads for Dysons. Models DC41 UP13 UP14 UP20 Kinetic Multifloor II and most other modern full size Dyson Ball vacuums use part number 967039-01 alternative part numbers 967039-01, 968415-01, 92077401, 96877201 967039-01. Bear in mind this part does not come with the brush rollers or the base plate. So if your brush roller is also defective (usually the short side brush roller also melts when power heads on Dyson’s break) you will also have to buy a new brush roller as well. Fortunately the base plates rarely fail so you likely wont need a new one of those. With this information in hand, you can be sure to find the right power head for your Dyson vacuum and get back to keeping your home clean

When we have them in stock you can buy them here https://www.vacuumsrus.com/product/cleaning/vacuum-parts/dyson/powerhead-assembly-for-dyson-models-dc41-up13-up14-up20-kinetic-multifloor-ii-967039-01/

Some times we offer reconditioned power heads as well https://www.vacuumsrus.com/product/cleaning/vacuum-parts/dyson/reconditioned-powerhead-assembly-for-dyson-dc65-dc66-and-up13/ or https://www.vacuumsrus.com/product/cleaning/vacuum-parts/dyson/product-11/

If you have a model DC40, DC25 or DC24 when it comes to finding a replacement for your Dyson power head, you have a few options. You can try to find an older model that uses the same head, or you can try to find a reconditioned or rebuilt head. However, the best option is to buy a new power head from Dyson. This way you know you’re getting a quality product that will last. The problem is Dyson discontinued them many years ago and stopped making parts so getting a new one will be hard.

When we do have DC25 Dyson powerheads in stock they are here https://www.vacuumsrus.com/product/cleaning/vacuum-parts/dyson/gray-reconditioned-dyson-dc25-cleaner-head-assembly-915499-07-915499-04/ under part number 915499-07, 915499-04

If you’re the owner of a Dyson DC50 or the so-called “soft carpet” model, you might be wondering where you can find a replacement power head. While these models are no longer being manufactured, you might be able to find a power head for them if you know where to look. The power heads for these models are part number 965071-02, and they’re more readily available than the vacuum cleaners themselves. So if you’re in need of a dyson power head replacement, don’t despair – there’s still hope.
